A HORRIBLE TRAIN ACCIDENT IN BALASORE

Balasore, Odisha , 3rd February, 2024: A terrible unfortunate train accident had been occurred in Odisha, India. That was the most tragic moment in that year. The Coromandel Express was going at full speed when it entered the passing loop instead of the main line. This caused the train to overturn and collide with the goods train. It was an enigma to the people in Odisha. Indian Government launched a rescue operation and an investigate team. The team investigated the whole tragic event to find out the actual reason of accident. The Indian Government had taken necessary steps to prevent future tragic accident. The government had increased the number of safety checks on trains also.
The fatal train accident occurred near the Bahanaga Baazar station in Balasore district of Odisha at approximately 6:55 P.M on 02.06.2023. 290 people were killed and around 900 were wounded in an awful train smash. Three NDRF units, 4 disaster units, over 15 fire rescue teams, 30 doctors and 200 police had started rescue action. The railway minister visited the spot and announced compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the family of the dead passengers, Rs 2 lakh for injured passengers and Rs 50,000 for minor injured passengers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited the spot and expressed his grief over the accident. He announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the family of the dead and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
It is endless to say that the Indian will not hear such terrible accidental news in future. That was the most tragic accident so that the local mobs as well as the whole Indians were very much hurted.
