Andhra Pradesh, 3rd February, 2024: India made a historic moment by launching Chandrayaan – 3 successfully. It was launched at 2.35pm on 14 July from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. India made history by landing Chandrayaan – 3 on the South Pole of the Moon. It was the most energetic moment among Indians. It was third attempt by India. India launched Chandrayaan – 2 in 2019 which was failed. At last India got success by sending Chandrayaan – 3. The budget of that mission was about 615 crore. After the successful landing, scientists, officials, peoples, the all Indian broke out in an historic celebration. This achievement was the result of very hard works of the scientists day by day.
The lander and rover “Progyan” spent 41 days to reach the Moon’s surface. The Prime Minister of India named the landing spot as “Shiva Shakti Point”. ISRO chairman S. Somnath expressed his gratitude to all the members of that mission. All the Indians are so proud of Chandrayaan – 3 mission.
