“BENEFITS OF KANYASHREE PRAKALPA”
Kanyashree Prakalpa: What is it?
It is a “Cash Transfer Scheme” especially for woman students to develop them. Kanyashree Prakalpa is launched by the honourable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’ in West Bengal. It is a scheme for the benefit of female students reading in classes 8 to 12 in government-sponsored schools in West Bengal. Each girls student between 14 to 18 years of age who grows up with a low family income is eligible to get a grant of Rs-750/-every year for continuing their studies. Once the students pass the H.S. examination, she will be given a one-time grant of Rs-37,500/- whenever she completes 18 years of age.
Aims of the Scheme:
There are several benefits and aims of it. Especially in our country, Girl child education is prevented by their family for being poor. There are many reasons for their prevention. However, this scheme helps them to continue their study. It is our pride in the Nation.
Prevent Girl Child Marriage:
It has a great benefit. It really helps a woman student to stop immature marriage. They can continue their reading as she wishes. In our Modern and everyday life, a woman should have an education properly. Especially several thanks go to Mamata Banerjee for her ideal footsteps.
